Alexander Park, DVM
Alex started Valley Veterinary Hospital in 2021. He graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Now well over a decade later he finds himself with a well grounded understanding and vision of his career’s purpose – to serve the community by helping those furry (and sometimes fur-less) family members who can’t always help themselves. His career has had a very wide scope – including emergency medicine, general practice, and urgent care. He really enjoys surgery and emergency medicine. With each role, he always makes it a priority to know as much as possible to help as best as he can.
Originally a Michigan native, he found his way to Utah and is excited to call this place home. He spends most of his time outside of work with his amazing family consisting of his wife and son. In their cozy residence they have two dogs, two cats, 7 chickens and a hive of honeybees. With what small amount of free time left, he bikes.

She also loves spending time with her husband, and her dog Willow, who bring so much joy and shenanigans into her life.

Moe Baum, DMV
Moe took a roundabout way of getting into veterinary medicine that culminated in becoming a veterinarian. She was born and raised in San Diego, California where she not only met her now husband but graduated from University of California San Diego (UCSD) with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with the intent to become an ecologist working in conservation. Things clearly didn’t work out in this regard, as she eventually started working as a veterinary technician at a busy general practice (GP) and ER combo clinic before deciding to pursue becoming a veterinarian.
She went to vet school at Midwestern University, in Phoenix AZ, where she was a member of their inaugural class, graduating in 2018. From there she moved with her husband to central Washington and practiced mixed animal medicine for a couple years before deciding to move closer to family here in Utah during the height of the Pandemic. Over the last several years she has worked doing GP, urgent care, and emergency medicine in different capacities as not only an associate veterinarian, but as a medical director and relief veterinarian as well. Through these various positions, she has accumulated a diverse amount of experience in not only small animal medicine (dogs and cats), but in large animals (horses and farm animals) and exotics (birds, reptiles, small mammals, etc.) as well. She has also developed a passion for emergency medicine and pain management through these experiences as well.
Outside the clinic, Moe enjoys reading, camping, hiking, snowboarding, building vivariums, and spending time with her family; which consists of her husband, Mike, 3 dogs (Bodi, Oakley, Maverik), 5 cats (Mowgli, Monkey, Ash, Duckie, Maeve), 4 fish (3 guppies and 1 beta), and frogs (milk and dart frogs).
