Dr. Alexander Park
DVM
Alex is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing urgent care and emergency medicine for the majority of his career since he graduated in 2014. Also throughout his career he has worked in areas of general practice, preventative medicine, hospice care and has dedicated a great deal of time learning and employing gentle and humane euthanasia techniques to patients in need. This diverse skill set has allowed him to successfully provide valuable, thought out and thorough care to a wide range of furry family members both young and old, healthy and ill. His hobbies outside of animal medicine include fly fishing, rock climbing, skiing and photography.
Dr. Katrina Stockstill
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Katrina graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and completed a 1-year internship in Emergency Medicine in Portland, OR before moving to Utah. She worked in emergency and critical care at local specialty hospitals for 12 years before joining the team at Valley Veterinary Hospital.
Katrina has interests in wound management and urgent care, well as toxicities and endocrine conditions. She is excited to form long-term relationships with clients and their furry family members, to help keep them healthy and support their human-animal bond.
Katrina also enjoys hiking, home renovation. and spending time with her husband and 2 kids.
Dr. Jamie Bean
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Originally from Northern California, Jamie completed her undergraduate education on the big island of Hawaii and veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in Pomona, California. Jamie practiced small animal medicine for 11 years in Baltimore and the Salt Lake Valley. She is excited to assist the Draper community with urgent and preventative care. Jamie’s interests include surgery and strengthening the human-animal bond for the betterment of both species. She also has a huge soft spot for working dogs. When not treating her patients, you can find her hiking with her dog Camper, camping or snowboarding.
Dr. Samantha Crawford
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Samantha grew up in Athens, Georgia. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2013 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia in 2018, making her a “Double Dawg”. After graduation, Samantha and her husband moved to Utah to be closer to the mountains. She has been working in small animal practice for the last 5 years before recently becoming a relief veterinarian. She has also completed her certification for veterinary medical acupuncture in 2023. Samantha’s professional interests include preventative medicine, dentistry, urgent care, and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys hunting with her bird dogs (Bo and Axle), fly fishing, skiing, mountain biking, and trail running.
Dr. Melissa Vetter
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Melissa grew up in Buffalo, NY and graduated in 2010 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a private practice internship in Baltimore, MD and practiced there for another year before venturing out to Salt Lake City, where she continued in general practice. She recently joined the team at Valley Veterinary, and is very excited to provide urgent care to pets in need. Her professional interests include surgery, wound repair, and preventative medicine. She strives to care for pets and their people with kindness and compassion, and understands the invaluable role that pets play in our lives. In her free time, Melissa enjoys hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and the natural beauty of Utah. She also loves spending time with her husband, and her dog Willow and cat Sebastian, who bring so much joy and shenanigans into her life.
Dr. Madison Taylor
DVM
As a type one diabetic, Dr. Madison was inundated with the medical field from a young age. She had a significant interest in medical advancement and public awareness. She became interested in veterinary care while attending Western Illinois University as a student-athlete, where she worked part time as a Veterinary Assistant. Dr. Madison decided to pursue veterinary medicine rather than human medicine because of the diversity of the veterinary field and the opportunity to help numerous species. She then moved to Tennessee to work as a Veterinary Assistant for a year. She then attended Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine,War Eagle! Because of her own experiences, she notably enjoys endocrinopathies, emergencies, and surgery. In her free time she enjoys learning new languages, hiking, and traveling with her husband and off-brand Bernese Mountain dog, Reggie!
Lindsey
CVT, Technician Manager
Lindsey graduated from Broadview University for Veterinary Technology and has been practicing since 2012. Most of her experience is in general practice with small animals and exotics. She especially loves working with cats and reptiles.
She loves reading and spending time with her husband, daughter, and 2 Bengal cats at home.
Hanna
Vet Tech
Hanna moved to Utah from California and has been in the veterinary field since 2020. She is currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician through Penn Foster College. She has two dogs that she likes to spend most of her time with when not at work.
Kati
Vet Tech
Kati has been a veterinary technician for over 6 years and loves working with animals. She has experience in both surgeries and general practice which has helped her develop a deep sense of empathy for every animal. She always works with integrity which is why you can trust your pet with her care. Outside of work, she loves to go camping and work with her Border Collie Badger on the agility course.
Forrest
Vet Tech
Forrest has been a Veterinary Technician with over 8 years of experience. Most of his experience has been in general practice, surgery and urgent care. He is passionate about animals and their health. In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, traveling, watching sports and spending time with his girlfriend, their 3 dogs (Monroe, Henna and Kona), and their cat Alfredo.
Jules
Vet Tech
Jules has been in the veterinary field since 2020. She is currently working towards a M.S. degree in Biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Outside of work, Jules enjoys hiking, scuba diving, running, and cycling. She loves spending time with her family chickens, dog and cat.
Hailey
Vet Tech
Hailey went to veterinary technician school at Jordan Applied Technology Center and has many years of general practice experience and one year of ER experience. She loves to go fishing, hiking, and camping with her friends and family. She has two family pet dogs named Mia and Berklie, and a cat named Bowser.
Eden
Vet Tech
Eden was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. She moved to Lindon, Utah when she was 16 years old. She finished high school and went to Snow College for a year and a half. She studied pre-vet there and then transferred to Bridgerland Technical College. She started doing her clinical hours here and now has a place as a vet nurse. She will graduate from the animal science program at Btech as a certified vet tech assistant this summer, 2024. She has always wanted to work in an animal based field as long as she can remember and has had her career planned out since she was in middle school. As a kid, she would drag her mom to the zoo every weekend and as she got older, she was able to start volunteering at the Phoenix Zoo as a zoo teen. She hopes to one day move back to Arizona and work at that same zoo as a certified vet tech. However, after a summer 2023 trip, her biggest dream is to become a vet tech at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. In her free time, Eden likes to cook, bake, play video games, and go outside. She can’t wait for the summer season so she can spend her days off at the lake.
Harley

Harley was born and raised in Utah. She has always had a passion for animals from a young age. She started in the animal hospitality field as a boarding kennel tech in 2004. From there, she was trained as a veterinary receptionist. Then she received on-the-job training as a veterinary technician in general practice.
Outside of work, she enjoys going to concerts, camping, hiking, fishing and jeeping with her family and dogs.
Jeanny
Vet Tech
Jeanny moved from Venezuela to Utah when she was 17, and started working in the Vet field in 2021 as an emergency technician. Jeanny got her groomer certification in 2022 and is currently working to get certified as a Veterinary technician. Jeanny has had pets her whole life and used to have multiple hamsters as a kid. Jeanny now owns 2 cats and a Golden Retriever. She loves music, dancing and Ice cream.
Shantell
Reception Manager
Shantell has been in the Veterinary field since 2012. Shantell is an advocate for client care and strives for excellence in client relations. Shantell is also cross-trained as a technician assistant and enjoys patient care. She loves spending time with her family. She likes to be outdoors camping or hiking.
Bronwyn
Receptionist
Bronwyn has been around animals her entire life and has always wanted to work with them. At home she has a dog named Roxy and a cat named Saraphina. Bronwyn loves meeting new people and listening to their stories. In her free time, she likes to read books, watch fun tv shows, and she especially loves to sing. You can always catch her humming a tune.
Josephine
Receptionist
Josephine, is a senior in high school that has completed a veterinary assistant program through Salt Lake Community College. She enjoys donating her time to animal shelters. She’s always had a love for animals and can hopefully pursue that love in her future. She has a 7 year old pit bull terrier named Luna and 2 fish named Patrick and SpongeBob. She enjoys painting, drawing, spending time with friends and family.
Chelsea
Receptionist
Chelsea is originally from Mexico and moved to the United States to pursue better opportunities. She is currently studying Biology at the University of Utah Honors College. Chelsea has always had a passion for animals and hopes to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Aside from animals, she loves exploring the outdoors and has a passion for drawing. Chelsea has two dogs (Georgy & Dina), one cat (Hinata), and two parakeets.
